Staff Biographies

Alan Hume - Director

Alan joined Provanhall in 2022 and brings with him over 20-years’ experience in Housing background at a senior level from a national association and experience from community lead Associations. 
Alan achieved the Diploma in Housing Management, is a qualified Letting Agent, Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and achieved the Certificate in Corporate Governance from the Charted Institute of Finance and Administration.
With a previous background in Retail banking and the Civil Service Alan is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for the Association and its’ tenants.

Mark Quigley - Technical Services Manager

Mark has worked in housing for 12 years and joined Provanhall Housing Association as Technical Services Manager in March 2020.
After completing a Degree in Building Surveying from Glasgow Caledonian University he worked in Building Consultancy for five years and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Mark has experience in asset, facilities and project management along with residential repairs, refurbishment and cyclical maintenance.

Stephen Baxter - Housing Services Manager

Stephen has worked for Provanhall Housing Association since June 2023 and has over 21 years’ experience in the social housing sector. 
Stephen previously worked for Local Authority in a number of management roles prior moving into the community lead association sector.  Stephen is experienced in all aspects of housing operations and has a real passion for social housing. 
Stephen is a member of the Charted Institute of Housing and former member of the Scottish Social Services Council.

Peter Boyle - Technical Services Officer

Peter has worked in housing for 11 years and has experience in all aspects of reactive & cyclical repairs.  
He joined Provanhall Housing Association as Technical Services Officer back in April 2023 having previous worked at the association for a year in 2013 covering a temporary Technical Services position.

Julie Smith - Housing Services Officer

Julie joined PHA in 2003 as Housing Services Assistant progressing to Housing Services Officer in 2004 -responsible for Allocations, Arrears monitoring, Anti-Social Behaviour, Estate Management and Funding opportunities. She now has over 30 years’ experience in housing management.
Julie worked for two other housing associations for a period of 10 years prior to joining Provanhall.  Julie has also previously worked as a Finance Assistant and Housing Assistant in Glasgow City Councils Housing Services Department.

Tracy Campbell - Housing Services Officer

Tracy has around 20 years of experience working as a Housing Officer dealing with all aspects of Housing Management. 
Tracy joined Provanhall Housing in 2018, after working in another HA in greater Easterhouse for a number of years.  Prior to that Tracy had been working for North Lanarkshire Council from the start of her Housing career. 

Andrew Dickson - Finance Officer

Andrew was appointed Finance Officer in November 2023 with 4 years experience in Housing finance.
Andrew is currently working towards attaining CA status with the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants.

Pamela Davren - Finance Administrator

Pamela's journey with Provanhall commenced in February 2023 when she stepped in to provide temporary reception cover. However, her exceptional skills and dedication quickly earned her a more significant role within the organisation. She now plays a pivotal role in supporting the finance department, overseeing a wide array of administrative duties with efficiency and precision.  
As Pamela continues to excel in her role. Her journey serves as a testament to her resilience, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to making a meaningful impact within the organisation and community.

Rachel Fitzsimons - Technical Services Assistant

Rachel joined Provanhall Housing Association in 2015 to pursue a career within the social housing sector.
After assisting all departments throughout the years, you will now find her permanently working alongside the Technical/Repairs department to assist with; customer service, cyclical, planned and reactive maintenance.

Heather Elder - Corporate Services Assistant

Heather joined Provanhall in 2023. She has over 20-years’ experience in Housing, at a senior level in both national associations and community lead Associations. Heather is a qualified debt recovery Paralegal and has managed factoring services for various organisations over the last 15 years. 
Heather has now made a career move into Corporate Services and continues to enjoy learning new skills in this role.
